Mindful yoga specifically designed to help lessen burnout and emotional and physical exhaustion in healthcare providers and caregivers.
These classes are taught by a physician who understands what it is like to feel exhausted, stressed, achy, and frustrated. These free classes began at the beginning of the pandemic as a way to support my colleagues and they have been so well-received and impactful they have been ongoing and growing since.
Classes are an hour FOR YOU.
An hour to soak in the pause, nourish yourself, align, stretch, strengthen, and restore calm to your overworked nervous system.

To grow self-compassion and experience mindfulness, healing, and release of tension.

To soften, find ease, and peace.
They are an hour to nourish mind, body, spirit, and soul.
I am a pediatrician, 200 hr RYT, and certified mindful coach. I teach Hatha-style classes infused with coaching, mindset work, and breathing.
My intention is to help my colleagues in medicine restore calm, grow mindful self-compassion and upregulate your parasympathetic nervous system.
My intention is to help you recover, be present, and find ease, joy, purpose, and passion despite the chaos of healthcare today.
I infuse coaching throughout my classes to help maximize immediate relief and the long-term positive impact of mindfulness and yoga.
We specifically attend to the concept of ahimsa – do no harm. We commit to practicing doing no harm to ourselves in addition to doing no harm to others.
Classes are open to all but are “themed” to address common pain points of high-achieving women. I help you grow self-compassion, lessen time scarcity and urgency, and let go of resentment, fear, catastrophizing, and judgment of self and others. We work on releasing jealousy, anger, people-pleasing, perfectionism, and intense emotions.
Join me to learn to breathe deeply, shift your perspective, and restore your energy.
Classes are accessible, mindful, and free.
No previous yoga experience is needed.
Please join me and a lovely community most Saturdays at 9 a.m. pacific. Recordings are available to those who sign up as well.

Dr. Jessie Mahoney is a 200 hr RYT. She is also a Master Certified Life Coach who works primarily with physicians and others in healthcare who are “successful on the surface yet struggling underneath.” She is a long-time physician wellness leader and a board-certified Pediatrician. She currently focuses her full attention on supporting her colleagues in medicine through mindful coaching, yoga, and CME retreats.
