Branch Training: Teaching the Finding Peace in a Frantic World Curriculum – 1 day Teacher Training

February 24, 2024 @ 9:00 am - 5:00 pm GMT

£140

This one-day workshop is for fully trained Mindfulness for Life (MBCT-L) teachers who meet our entry criteria and have a regular established personal mindfulness practice – https://bamba.org.uk/good-practice-guidelines/

It provides training in how to teach Mindfulness: Finding Peace in a Frantic World (M-FP). This curriculum is a development of Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), and is based on the best-selling book by Mark Williams and Danny Penman. M-FP provides a practical and accessible introduction to mindfulness, with 6 or 8 weekly sessions of 60-90 minutes, and home practices of 10-20 minutes. It includes practices and exercises for working with stress and for increasing wellbeing and resilience. It is suitable for delivering to adults in workplaces, universities and schools, and to the general public.

PLEASE NOTE: This curriculum is intended to be delivered to adults over 18 years of age and is not applicable for delivery to children

Curriculum materials and handouts for teaching the course are provided.

If you are not trained in MBCT-L, you will need to attend our 2-day MBCT to MBCT-L, or 6-day MBSR to MBCT-L Branch Training before applying for the M-FP teacher training workshop.

The OMF provides Confirmation of Attendance letters to all participants who attend and take part in all aspects of 100% of the training event, including break out rooms, with their camera on.
