Depression, Anxiety, and Stress Mindfulness Group

January 14, 2025 @ 6:00 pm - March 4, 2025 @ 8:00 pm EST

$35 – $50

Are you feeling concerned about preventing future bouts of anxiety and depression? Wanting to work on how you manage stress? Consider Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy. MBCT is a research supported group approach found to be helpful for those with a history of depression, anxiety and trouble coping with stress. During this 8 week group, you’ll learn and practice skills for having a different relationship with emotions and thoughts. Breakout groups provide opportunities to connect with others who understand. This group is best suited for individuals who are between episodes or experiencing mild to moderate symptoms currently as the group requires that participants commit to 30 minutes of daily home practice. Significant trauma symptoms and personality disorders may also prohibit someone from participating.
Blue Cross/Blue Shield and EHP Insurances are accepted for this series. Group fee can be reduced from $50 to $35 for participants with financial need. Claims may be submitted upon request. An intake evaluation is required before beginning the group with assessments.
