Annual Research Update

November 28, 2024 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm GMT

£50

Scientific theory and research are important underpinnings of MBCT. Effective teachers need to understand the evidence base in order to communicate with potential participants, and other interested people, about research evidence and the limitations of current knowledge.

Join us Thursday 28 November 2024, 19:00-21:00 UK time, for the Annual Research Update, presented by Professor Ruth Baer, Director of the Master of Studies in MBCT at the University of Oxford.

This annual update provides an informative summary of the latest research on mindfulness and MBCT.

Please note: Part of this update will include content from Ruth’s fascinating presentation delivered at our Trained Teachers’ Gathering in Oxford in September 2024, when she shared research exploring the themes of ‘awe’ and nature through the lens of mindfulness with her invaluable insights along the way. If you attended the Gathering, this is an opportunity for you to revisit the content while gaining knowledge of some fresh material.
