Meditation for Summer Solstice: Relaxing into the Light

This time of year can feel both energetic and slow. Midsummer (as this season is known) is a time to celebrate light, to appreciate any clarity or insight that may come to us in this ‘shining’ moment. It’s a time to honor inner power and brightness, and also to lounge around and daydream (so important to help us grow and deepen, no matter how long the to-do lists!).

This gathering includes a short talk, a reflection and a guided meditation. If you wish, bring something that ‘brightens’ you—a candle, a sunflower or daisy, some honey, a gold coin or piece of jewelry, a piece of sunstone, clear quartz or peach calcite—whatever resonates with you as a symbol of abundance, joy, adventure or growth.
