Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) is an 8-week, evidence-based, experiential program providing in-depth training in mindfulness meditation and movement practices. The program also helps participants integrate mindfulness into their daily lives. Created by Jon Kabat-Zinn in 1979, MBSR is based on ancient contemplative practices integrated with western medical approaches. This program harnesses our inner resources and has been demonstrated to enhance emotional resilience.

Orientation: September 17, 6 – 7 p.m. Central
First Class: September 24, 6 – 9 p.m. Central
Classes 2-6: October 1, October 8, October 15, October 22, October 29, 6 – 8:30 p.m.
Skip November 5 week
Class 7: November 12, 6 – 8:30 p.m.
Last Class: November 19, 6 – 9 p.m.
Retreat: Saturday November 9, 9:30 a.m. – 4 p.m.
