£3,950
Train to teach the eight-week Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) and Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) courses.
We offer one-year part-time training to teach the eight-week Mindful Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) and Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) courses.
Our teacher training courses are open to everybody, whether or not you have a clinical background.
Our training equips you to run the eight-week MBCT or MBSR courses, whatever your professional background. Whether you are a clinician working for the NHS, or a member of the public inspired to teach, our part-time training course is relevant to you.
The training runs from February to December each year. With three days in-person teaching, and the rest online, you don’t need to be local.
Uniquely, our training offers an opportunity to teach an MBCT or MBSR course alongside one of Sussex Mindfulness Centre’s highly experienced mindfulness teachers.
The training is open to people who:
– Have completed an 8-week MBCT or MBSR group, in person or online, as a participant.
– Have a regular mindfulness practice (including practices taught on the MBCT/MBSR courses).
– Can envisage and describe ways in which they could run MBCT or MBSR groups after completion of the training.
